AMBASSY; the PR & influencer agency by Dries Henau & Yuri Vandenbogaerde and MMBSY, the former Media Mania, are announcing their merger under the name of MMBSY.


The timing of the merge is not as coincidental as you might think in the first place. Both parties connected after Media Mania’s rebranding to MMBSY {read: embassy}. It soon became clear to the – at that time similar sounding – PR-agencies that there was a great complementarity between both companies.

In the past, AMBASSY has provided great results for brands such as, Camptoo, Toerisme Oostende, Jaguar, Land Rover, Thermae Palace Hotel Oostende, WASBAR, ZEB, Chez Claire, Fujifilm, MUD, Lord & Berry & Vacanceselec on the basis of a creative PR approach, social media storytelling, influencer collaborations as well as ambassadorships.

As of January this year, MMBSY has been building on the PR foundations of Media Mania. The new managing partners, Mie Van der Auwera en Myra Nurski, are investing in broadening and deepening the PR, social media marketing and content marketing. MMBSY has been part of the Duval Union group since 2018 and has strong ambitions regarding their position within the branch.

Both companies will work together under the name of MMBSY, starting 1/7. Dries and Yuri are strengthening the MMBSY-team as strategic & creative consultants for former Ambassy clients, current accounts and new prospects.

It seemed like a very logical decision to join forces. We created an opportunity out of a disagreement that will benefit both the transferee and ourselves, as well as our clients. Isn’t that just beautiful? It also gives us the opportunity to focus on our strengths: the creative and strategic aspect, while the MMBSY team guarantees a smooth implementation and follow-up.

In addition to their activity for MMBSY, Dries and Yuri remain active as ‘De Jongens’. Under that naming they will continue supporting brands in retail, travel and hospitality with their marketing strategy, concepting, branding as well as hospitality- & costumer experience. They have been working for Tourism Ostend, Thermae Palace Hotel Ostend and Boardwalk Hotel – Aruba for a while now, which activities Dries and Yuri want to evolve and expand. In addition, the duo has recently started to support start-ups and growing companies.

MMBSY is a full-service PR & Content Marketing Agency for brands such as: Guess, Caroline Biss, La Redoute, Timberland, Floris Van Bommel, O’Neill, Reebok, Chantelle, Suzuki, Cybex, Novy, Renson, Royal Botania, Unicef, Think Pink… Thanks to the Ambassy-merge, they will be adding, Camptoo, WASBAR & Vacanceselect to their portfolio.
