Daily Dose of Nature 2.0

The challenge 

In 2023, A.S.Adventure, together with a team of health experts, launched the first edition of the awareness campaign to promote the physical and mental wellbeing of all Belgians calling for a “Daily Dose of Nature”. This visionary campaign demonstrated that spending time in nature improves health and wellbeing.

However, in an era dominated by screens and digital stimuli, it is crucial to recognize the essential role nature plays in children’s development. Outdoor playtime is decreasing, negatively impacting children’s health, and by extension development of society. As a lifestyle and outdoor retailer, A.S.Adventure felt it was its duty to encourage more children to reconnect with nature. The challenge was to deliver this message in a tailored and accessible manner to the target audience. By focusing on the next generation in 2024, we aimed to create a lasting, structural impact not only on children themselves but also extending to broader society.

The work 

The second edition of Daily Dose of Nature built on last year’s success with a long-term vision. Leveraging 2023’s scientific insights, we shifted focus to kids, using a multichannel strategy to inspire outdoor exploration. To introduce a fresh angle, we launched the Nature Triangle—a first in Belgium—providing an educational tool for parents and teachers, backed by a well-founded manifesto.

To engage kids effectively, we partnered with two relatable ambassadors, Héritier Tipo and Thomas De Smet who delivered the message in a kid-friendly way. Securing coverage on Karrewiet, Flanders’ leading children’s news platform, was key, achieved through a tailored press launch.

We also reached parents and teachers—key decision-makers—through media coverage, videos, a manifesto, and inspiration guides, ensuring broad campaign impact.
